Nice touch using a poet Bono admires and makes reference to in the
literature. Too bad you used the condescending 'kiddies' which was
pretty transparent, how un-Bonoesque.
After seeing what heroine destroyed, I'm sure Hewson had a disdain for
any dabbling in drugs, at least hard drugs. Adam and the punching bag
Pop producer Mr. B(S) decided to indulge in the 'recreational' soft core
hemp derivatives, that's their problem.
It's anyone guess what Bono did in the early 80's, some will point to a
few of the early 80's live bono pics where he looks like he's on speed,
maybe it's called not going through the motions.
I'm not an expert or novice on drugs so why make a claim from quotes
that aren't conclusive or lyrics which are subjective.
