Sarajevo Popmart / Bono Plugged/Unplugged / MP3

1. I recently bought a copy of 'Disconnect', a boot of the Sarajevo
PopMart show (from a place called The Music Specialists
http://www.cyberway.com.sg/~livecds a highly reliable, cheap (well, not
really, but as far as original bootlegs go they are) and quite
recommended), and it starts with a sort of remix thing of New Year's
Day. Is this on other versions of Sarajevo PopMart? Does anyone know
what it is/who did it?

2. I've always been interested in the state of Bono's guitar playing.
If you watch the Rattle and Hum video, it's fun watching Bono play with
his amp during 'Exit' (I think, from memory) just like a 'real'
guitarist ;) trying to get his level right. In the ZooTV recordings,
including the official video, Bono's acoustic can be clearly
differentiated from Edge's electric during 'The Fly', and of course he
does little things all the way through different concerts (eg Stand By
Me, Unchained Melody etc) so my guess is definitely that he's running on
a wireless (I haven't actually seen the Mexico video yet - sacrelige!),
but you can normally see it attached to the guiter strap on his back.

3. Can anyone tell me a good program (preferably Freeware/Shareware) for
converting .au files into .mp3?
