huh. actually, i have to disagree with all the talk about the average
non-2 fans NOT liking this video. i know a lot of people who would not be
considered FANS of the band who absolutely LOVE this song, and video.
being a student with two jobs and no cable, and i skipped reading wire for
a few months, i didn't even hear about the ST video, except from people
who weren't fans. and they all loved it. *shrug*

i think it IS definitely a FAN's video though. but what's up with the
firemen stripping and gettin down on the fire truck? wacky. there just
seem to be many things that would appeal to people who either A) already
know what the song is about & why it was written..... or B) want to see
those wacky caricature band-head things...or C) want to see Ali...blah
blah blah. but i think it's done well enough that it's just darn cute to
the rest of the world. *shrug*

and, does anyone else almost sometimes think bono is saying the "Swedish
thing" ?! me & my roommate almost pissed ourselves the other night. ;)

i don't know. i love the video, my roommate loves the video (and
song...she's NOT a fan)...*shrug* so.
