my point still remains, regardless of how covertly "deep" the Beatles
lyrics and music are.. (notice I didnt say theyre NOT deep) I still
say U2 is better. For instance, listen to the opening music to
"Mothers of the Disappeared." That song sends chills down my spine.
NOTHING from the Beatles has ever done that to me. As for the
Lennon/McCarthy thing, I dont really care who wrote the lyrics to the
Beatles songs, so dont get technical.... my point is simply that
WHOEVER wrote their lyrics, they have nothing on Bono.
