Long time no post! I've been off Wire for a little while but I am back
now, so there! :b Anyways, here it goes...
Well, first of all the last U2 song that I'd want to listen to would
have to be either "Exit" or "Mysterious Ways", something fun to take my
mind off losing my life. :) However, the song that I would want to be
played at my funeral would have to be one of these: "I'm Not Your Baby"
(w/ Sinead, "It's a beautiful day today, everything is goin' my
way..."), "Numb" ("I feel numb..."), "A Day Without Me" ("I started a
landslide in my ego... A day without me...") or "Mofo" ("Looking for to
save my, save my soul..."). Inappropriate and frivolous? Well I'm
inappropriate and frivolous so I figure WHAT THE HELL? For something
more serious I'd have to pick either "Please" ("Get up off your
knees..."), "40" ("I waited patiently for the Lord..."), "Bad" ("Fade
away... I'm wide awake...") or "Stay" ("If I could stay..."). Probably
"Stay". Hey what about "Zoo Station"? "I'm ready, ready for the laughing
gas, I'm ready, ready for what's next..." Tee hee. This is a fun yet
depressing thread.
Second, okay now does anyone know about the U2 contest MuchMusic is
having? I know what to do and all that but I need the address! I try to
catch it every time the commercial is on but they show it for only 2
seconds and I'm sorry but I can't write that fast. So if anyone knows
the addy please please please e-mail me! And by the way, there were only
3 vids in the scramble.
Third, in case I don't post for a while, I'd just like to wish everyone
Happy Holidays! Hope your holidays are filled with peace, love, joy and
of course U2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
