Wirelings,
if you haven't already landed on this wonderful site, maintained by
Brazilian fan Everson Candido, you simply must visit now! the address is
http://www.u2brasil.com.br/u2radio/
how it works is that he's set up a number of alternating playlists (at
least 10 that I've counted) as .rm files to run on RealPlayer. They contain
between 30 and 90 files, of live songs, hard to find oldies and rare items,
snippets from R&H and other interviews and more. And since RealPlayer lets
you add preset addresses to your system, you can go back again and again
without having to go through the website (if you choose).
I've had the radio on as an almost constant companion while I'm at
work since I found the site. It's where I first heard the studio version of
Trash, Trampoline and the Party Girl, way back before the Bsides was
released, which had me LOL! and a great live version of October from 83
with uillean pipes, the New Voices of Freedom covering the Sweetest Thing,
lots of live PopMart, and now the Late Late show pieces. . .
so, do yourself a favor and get back to the music. . .
