Ok, if the u2 books are gospel..then why aren't the interviews?

Alright here is the main reason why I don't think the group is using anything
harder than alcohol at this moment....if you are going to talk the u2 books as
the solemn truth..and I don't really, then you have to take the interviews the
group has given lately as the truth as well..and bono has said many times that
he doesn't use anything harder than alcohol...which he has admitted he drinks
alot. I know he could be lying..but I choose to believe him, and unless some
really believable source proves me other wise, Im going to take Bono at his
word. Besides..his doctor is on his case for alcohol...so I seriously doubt
Bono is stupid enough to take cocaine or heroin at this point in his
life......
