Among drug-related posts I'm trying to squeeze the totally unimportant news
that, probably the last one, but certainly among the happiest, I FINALLY GOT
my 'Best Of & B-sides'! So what's the deal? - many you may ask. Well, since
it's not officially brought in Romania through our own Polygram licensee, at
least not yet, against everybody's better judgement (thanks again Nico for
the advice!), I ordered it from a Romanian small enterprise that brings CDs
from 'Scandinavia and Germany', as they put it. And here it is, after only 4
weeks from the release and 3 weeks from ordering, for a modest 26 dollars!
The moral: as MacPhisto said, you, the majority of Wire, 'count your
blessings!' I know there are among us people even more isolated and unable
to get the 'Best Of' than I and, worst of all, too proud to ask. If only
they let themselves be known...
As for the CDs content, especially the B-sides... The words fail me now!

PS: The guy who brought the CD claims that there was no trace of the 'single
CD' Best Of in Scandinavia or Germany, otherwise he was considering bringing
that one, to save me the money!!! After I emphatically specified 'the double
CD'! Could it be, no 'single CD' yet?
PPS: As I'm a digest reader, I may be wrong and the drug thread could be
cinders by now. But just in case it isn't... check the WIRE archives from
april-may 1993 (on the 'Mailing List' site) and you may find a familiar
subject, along expectative posts about 'the new EP' :)!
