Ok ok...enough,
I think this discussion of the drug habits of U2's members is extremely
tiresome and boring. Why can't we talk about something interesting...like
why they filmed the Popmart video in that "not-so-live" film style. Was it
just me, or did the Sydney show not kick Mexico City's ass? I bought the
video this last week so I had to say something, I know for some of you this
discussion is already over, you've watched the tape 5 million times and you
don't care. But that's the way I feel about the drug thing. As far as I'm
concerned, U2 don't do drugs, maybe they do, maybe they don't, who gives a
crap. They make really good music...and they don't promote the use of drugs
in that music. If anything, they are against drugs...I know at least
heroin. Bono as written several songs, Bad and Running to Stand Still
included, about the use of heroin. I think he lost a good friend to it,
can't remember the exact details but some of the other Wirelings will likely
fill in the cracks for me. And we know Bono enjoys a good cig now and then,
at least he used, hell so do I, plus if U2's Irish blood is as thick as mine
you gotta drink a pint every now and then. So stop getting all bent out of
shape about this whole deal...and remember...Bono is NOT a crack whore...
