All she did was pass on some information she had about the band. I don't
recall reading anywhere in her post that she professed it to be the
absolute gospel truth. She's in a position where she hears stories like
this and it's up to her whether she chooses to pass them on or keep them to
herself. I, personally, enjoy reading stuff like this (whether or not I
believe it is another matter) and I think Wire would be a more interesting
read if we shared more of our little stories and information rather than
keeping them to ourselves for fear of criticism.

I used to be in a similar employment position to Nico and I heard a few
stories about U2 that I would have preferred not to have heard but I have
to work out for myself what is the truth and what is a 'wind-up'.

I have one thing to say to Nico - Girl, don't tell us anything that might
cost you your job! A job like that is worth far more than satisfying the
curiosity of a few thousand Wirelings.
