u2 not a band that writes joyous songs? Are we talking about the same group
here...sure they aren't joyous in the idea that they are lightweight and
happy..but their songs have a deeper sense of hope and joy in them...like
realizing things aren't all roses...but refusing to give up on the idea that
things CAN be better. Compared to most of the modern music out there..u2 seems
to be one of the only bands that even understand what Joy is..its not giving
up, but it isn't ignoring what is out there either...this concept sounds
interesting, I can't wait to hear whats in their minds and hearts..
