Okay, here is the long awaited information on the U2 party in Austin,
Texas!!
When: December 19, 2:00ish
Where: Austin, Texas
More specifically: Starting at Conan's Pizza @ 2606 Guadalupe (known as the
Drag for Austin veterans). I say we will start there because there are tons
of music stores within walking distance that traditionally have plenty of U2
stuff, both common and ultra rare. Conan's Pizza is a cool little place with
lots of goofy Conan memorabilia and great food. If you want to stay later,
the party will move to 6th Street for those 21+. There will be plenty of
pubs/bars/clubs to choose from, again, all within walking distance.
This is a laid back party and everyone is invited to wear or bring their U2
goodies. Don't forget those scrap books!!! : ]
To save bandwidth, if you need any hotel info, directions, (or anything
else) please email me. RSVPs are appreciated so I can warn the good folks at
Conan's.
