and while i'm here, does anyone else think 80s bono sometimes sounded
absolutely idiotic on stage? sincere, yes. heartfelt, without a doubt.
but damn, some of his live ramblings make me cringe. like that whole spiel
he gives before bad at chicago '87. makes you think he came up with the
song's title by logically coming to the conclusion "hmmmm, heroin is. .
.bad!"
