I remember when I was new to Wire, and had recently read someone's post
about "Streets," and how the intro can make `em get all emotional and
cry. When I first read that, I was thinkin', "....what?! Hmmm....I
just don't see it. Whatever girlfriend." (I know, people, I know. I
was pretty damn dumb back then!)
*Then* one night, I couldn't sleep, so I snuggled up on the couch in the
dark and put Rattle & Hum in. Right as "Streets" came on, I was like,
"...........Whoa......" I was in awe. I was amazed. I was cryin', I
was so touched by that whole song and performance. WOW! That's when it
hit me, like a ton of bricks. Incredible. Man, I was hooked.
