Hey WireBrain!
First I'd like to thank those of you who urged me to get the new
video. You were right it is DEFINATELY worth it. I had a chance to
screen it last night (courtesy of my U2 guru er HenryW). Let's see the
first thing I noticed is the overall look of the video, there is this
swooping boom cam all over. It is very clear and very steady. Here are
some ways it differs from the Showtime Broadcast IMO:
- You see much more of the LED screen
- Many more close ups of the band members (including a hilarious one
of Sparky w/a ciggie dangling from his lips and this
I'm-cool-as-all-shit look on his face)
- Must mention the audience they ROCKED, imagine say a stadium full of
diehards, to say the least, they just did not stop. It was awesome to
watch.
- Overall the cameras create this "omniscient" point of view
