Everlasting Love was a song by a group called The Love Affair.
Completely gorgeous song...It was number one in the UK in January1968.
I couldn't believe it when I first heard Bono sing it!!! They've done a good
job
though. Anyone else covering that song and it would've been rape!!!
The Love Affair have done some more of that sort of lovely stuff,
like a song called Rainbow Valley and A Day Without Love, if you
can get your hands on 'em, it's worth it for sure. Oh, and a song
called Bringing on back the good times. The biggest chance if you want this
stuff is on them
compilation albums.
It's that sort of warm feel good thing they had, like the Marmalade (Loving
Things) and Peter & Gordon, The Searchers....
Now...love songs like that WON'T make you wanna puke, that's for
sure! Just make ye feel goooooooooood!! There's a song called Go Now by the
Moody Blues...
just the intro...
