Passengers 2? I know the original post was by way of the Garbage
newsgroup, but before this becomes a rumor along the lines of the
x-files soundtrack etc. can anyone confirm a media source for these
rumors...I personally loved Passengers 1, and have hoped for a
follow up. I'm also a fan of Bjork, and would love to see her work
with the boys...so I'm excited...Hopefully someone can confirm or
deny.
Popmart Mexico...haven't seen it yet, but it is in stores here in
Canada. I asked for it as part of my Christmas gift. I figure I
can hold off that long to see it, as I've already watched the
Much Music broadcast to death. I am excited to see the remastered
sound and video though. A friend of mine has seen previews of the
concert on a couple of DVDs and he said the picture is amazingly
clear in the preview shots.
The charts...it's so nice to walk into a record store here in Canada
to see U2 in the first place spot, with Alanis sitting to one side.
Thanks to Dr. John's posts I've been getting a better appreciation for
the charts and want to thank him for the hard work he has put into this
information.
Now onto another topic...I've recently found a recording of Mysterious
Ways that I had never seen before and I wanted to know if anyone had
heard of it...the information is as follows...
Mysterious Ways (Manifesto Mix) (7:06)
Courtesy of Polygram Special Markets, Published by Polygram International
Music Publishing Inc. (ASCAP) Written by U2
>From the Album: Rock O' the Irish, Beloved Recordings, BEG21016-2
The album included tracks by Sinead O'Connor, the Pogues, the Waterboys
and such...and looks official. My problem is that there is no info
on the remixer etc. Anybody know anything more about the remix? Oh yeah
the album was released this year.
Anyway I'll let you go. Thanks for any help you can give on the Mysterious
Ways info and a source on the Passengers rumors.
