I have closely been examining New Year's Day on the Best of and Last
Night on Earth and have found no indications of any skips in the beat.
If you have, then it may just be the CD itself or the player. However,
I do agree with J. I also examined The Playboy Mansion and barely
noticed the skip in Bono's voice on the "Love..." portion. I have no
explanation on that. Maybe there was a problem recording that track or
during it's editing, mixing, mastering, or something. It's not my
player or the disc itself. Still, ignore them and just enjoy the music.
