I feel much more confident about asking questions. I never asked
before to avoid peaple like that Calvin guy. I'm not exactly a "newbie"
perhaps a newbie to U2 happenings. I really didn't care awhole alot
about reading magazine articles and stuff till about 6 months ago why
who knows. The thing I want to know is what happened at the Las Vegas
show,I know it was the first popmart but what exactly happen.-Details-
Why was it considerd a failure.
Amsnesty Tour why were the rest of the guys embaresset(sp) when Bono
went off the stage to greet the fans. In an interview Edge said well we
messed that up. Why is that? -Details wanted again-
What negative press was U2 getting mostly from England about PopMart?
How bad were the ticket sales in the U.S? and why should U2 care they
still had the 2nd largest grossing tour after the Rolling Stones? Some
magazines said that U2 indeed sold more tickest then the Rolling
Stones.Only reason they were ahead is because their tickets were more
expensive.
And where was the show where Bono said we have to dream it all up
again? I know it was on New Years Eve in 89?. Does Anyone Have That Show
as well? and apparently alot of peaple were watching it on t.v. How many
peaple?
And why HELL do U2 keep refering themselves as pop stars, pop band ect.?
Even berfore Pop came out. For crying out loud their Rock n Roll.
And a comment/question I never realized how good B-sides could be till
I bought the best of album. I use to regard B-sides as crap that
wasen't good enough to make an album. U2 make great B-sides. Walk To
Water is brilliant how could that not be on album? Dancing Barefoot LOVE
IT. I love them all except the last one and the instrumental. Are all
the B-sides this good or most of them crap that didn't make the album? I
don't own any singles but I'm wondering if I should.
E-mail me or post responses if digest worthy.
