Well, it's been almost a week now that Greatest Hits has been relesed in
Canda (where i am from), and i have a few things to say toyou all..
FIRST OF ALL, we are fans, therefor we notice the little cuts on cerint
songs (bad, etc). I really think U2 wasn't basing their Greatest Hits
for crazy fans like us that have hear ever version of every song twenty
times over, so chill..:) Most bands put out greatest hits to draw new
ppl and lost fans back to their side. After POP, i hate to say it, but
many long time U2 fans just fergot all about them and wouldn't give pop
the second listing it deserved. This is the perfect time for U2 to put
out this album. Not only will it show those ppl who didn't like pop
that they still remember and still enjoy their past sounds, it's proves
they are anything but ashamed and upset with what they have become..:)
second, stop with the numbers..:) i admit i was all hyped about the
whole "where can i get the lowest number" on my GH. But really tink
about hte vast number of copies floating around world wide.. be happy
you got a copy at some places..:) they sold right out! :)
lastly, a few things..
to that one guy that loved vinyl, so do i, but be dammed if i play it!
if i don't have a song that's on a 12" or 7" or 45 for that matter, i
willplay it once and tape it! :) i am crazy..:)
for those of you not lucky enoug to ear ROCKLINE tonight (the 9th) cross
yer fingers i will be taping it, so i fyou would like a copy eail me and
let me know... ut lets all hope that i cn call in sick from work and be
able to stay home and do it..:)
