GH info. No flames please

Hi peoples. I don't read this list except once in a blue moon, and I'm
sure all this stuff has been posted already. I just needed a bit of a
sounding board and I have a couple of questions. I love the GH album --
just got it in the mail yesterday. It's so great to finally hear some of
those B-sides! I, too, was a little disappointed it was the studio version
of "Bad" and also the studio version of "Silver and Gold." I'm glad to
have heard the studio version, but the live one on R&H is so much better!

Anyway, while I am thrilled that they put on "The Unforgettable Fire" (one
of my all time favorites, and way underrated imo), and "October" at the
end, where is "Gloria"??? Does anyone know why they chose not to include
this as one of their greatest hits? Also I heard they made a 3 GH album
deal. How can they make two more GH albums with only AB, Zooropa, and Pop
material? Or is the 80's B-sides disc considered one of the three?

ps--does anyone else out there actually like Pop? I thought it was a
terrific album and I thought it sounded much more like their older material
than like Zooropa. It's too bad the general public didn't give it a good
reception, but truthfully, I don't think they released the best songs from
the album until it was too late. Oh well. It can be my little secret ;)

pps-- has anyone heard "Sweetest Thing" on the radio yet (US)? I have not.
