Hello,
Does anyone out there absolutely LOVE vinyl? I know I do. I can't
wait to get GH on vinyl. I actually prefer vinyl to CD. Call me crazy, but
I got a pretty good record player, and once the music is going, the
scratches aren't to noticible. IMO some songs are best experienced on
vinyl. First and formost, WOWY is only fully felt when you're spinning wax.
It's hard to explain, but I'm sure those who also love vinyl know what I
mean. Also, I recently acquired the Miss Sarajevo 7" (THANKS STEVE!!) and
after listening to "One", I'm not sure if I'll ever listen to my CD again!!!
I'm actually surprised at how many people don't know what vinyl is. I ask
people if they listen to 45's and their reply is something along the lines
of "huh? What's that?" Even when I say "record", "lp" or "album" they don't
get it! Think of it, our kids are gonna have no idea what real music is!
