If you're in Europe this probably doesn't apply to you...my apologies
for the waste of bandwidth.
The U2 POPMart : Live in Mexico has been _delayed_ in North America.
I talked with P-gram this morning about it, and a very nice lady named
Ida told me that her computer spit out the date of November 17, 1998.
However, Nico, a WIREling mentioned that she had heard a date of
November 10, 1998. Any which way, it is going to be released in the
next two weeks(I will try and pin the release date down within the
next 48hrs...). Again, the fact that it did not come out as expected
does not mean that Polygram will not release it in North America!
A few Euros have mentioned that it is out in Europe -- and I've read a
few messages here and there on USEnet(alt.fan.u2 and alt.music.u2) that
the POPMart video has indeed been released there.
I'm not sure why they delayed it, although I suspect it had something
to do with the Rolling Stones, Alanis Morrisette, *and* Beck releasing
albums at midnight!
