As a thread inventor of ill/good repute, I applaud this thread! I
have been suscribing for about a year, but my favorite topics have been
the recent ones. Last year, I was in the frenzy that only a U2 tour can
cause and cure. So, obviously, that's why I viewed the on-line magazine.
But, recently, I've become more active due to threads that resonated
with me or because I thought of some. My favorite recent ones have been:
1) flaming VH1 for ragging on POPMart, and 2) the "Defining Moment"
debate. I've gotten LOADS of e-mails pro and con from my input on both
of them.
So, I guess my reason they are my favorite is because of the people
I've gotten to know because of them, which is the reason this thread was
suggested, I suppose. I'm sorry...I can't resist; I have to single some
out: Rob, for his insight into U2's "Defining Moment"; Janah, for our
mutual attempt to bring "The Unforgettable Fire" U2 cover band to
Philadelphia; Velia, for being at and commenting on the three POPMart
shows we accidentally attended together; Tracey, for also commenting on
the excellence of POPMart and much, much more; Vanessa, for being
"astrologically observant" and for getting me a poster (that is just too
cool, girl); and finally Rashas, without whom my life would be an empty
void - well, at least my e-mail account would be anyway. (Hmmm...5 to 1
ratio female-to-male; it's a good thing I'm heterosexual, isn't it?)

Thanks for the time, and I apologize to those who corresponded with me
without my mentioning it.
