U2 has been around since the late '70's, so why are we simply looking at
the '90's on our impromptu-unscientific-probably not being counted by
anyone-poll. So here are my favourite ten from the eighties and nineties.

U2-Achtung Baby
REM-Out of Time
REM-Automatic for the People
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-Into the Great Wide Open
Third Eye Blind-Third Eye Blind
Massive Attack-Blue Lines
Chemical Brothers-Dig Your Own Hole
Tragically Hip-Up To Here
granted this only offers two from the eighties, but I hadn't seen Blue
Lines or Petty on anyones list.
