Hey Wire,
I'm sick of hearing all this absolute bullshit about people getting
mad at each other over something very ridiculous, wake up!! It's obvious
some people on Wire need a ass kicking, but, I'm not gonna go into it. I
just like to celebrate the fact that U2 still are the GREATEST ROCK AND
ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD, and are the greatest rock band ever in their own
way, just like The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, or whatever
(maybe a couple other bands). I, personally am excited that U2 is coming
out with a Greatest Hits Cd, it's good for people who haven't bought all
their albums, and want to really listen to the 80's U2 stuff. I'm gonna
buy it still for the quality and the b sides collection. I cant wait for
their next album, and can't wait to see them live again! Also, I dont
think U2 ever came out and said "we won't put a greatest hits album out
ever." But the fact is, U2's a GREAT band, and every GREAT band puts out
a Greatest Hits album sometime, I think it's great. Their music is more
than anything, it can be your hope, peace, sleep, ambition, or whatever,
the songs are great, don't forget why you're a U2 fan, the songs. "Stay
close to the songs, they will tell you what to do"-Bono, St.Louis,
Nov.8, 1997. Rock ON U2!! I'll meet you someday.
