Its one thing to devote an entire holiday to lurking around doors of
private studios, and by the sounds of it you had LOTS to talk about and
later share with the world of obsessive fan-at-atics- thus it would
possibly be considered a successful hunt?
Speaking for my humble self though, if I was good enough to allow a
stranger in to use my bathroom (did she take a sample of sacred toilet
water - or a few sheets of loo paper by the way, and what brand was the
paper-two or three sheets thickness? Oh and is she writing a book,
perhaps 'I crapped on Adams toilet' would appeal to the masses) There
are endless possibilities to stem from this experience) I would be
appalled to read or hear that someone had even CONSIDERED recording
something personal that was coming from my home, office, or even
recording studio.20
I dunno maybe I'm just not one of those 'real fans' who appear to have
lost touch with reality and have forgotten there's a real world thats
pretty bloody good out here if only they applied themselves to finding
it. In fact I would go so far as to say that it is possible to combine
being a one eyed U2 fan with having a life of one's own.-Shock, Horror!
Oh well to each his/ her own. !
Oh , while am at it, I just have to comment on the post about U2 watching
or having someone watch WIRE- how the hell did they cope with building a
career for twenty odd years before WIRE came about?- I can just picture the
roster the four of them have to read the wire digest just in case they can
get a few tips from the gurus- Monday Bono, Tuesday Larry etc.-
Probably Bono should get the extra night as more seems to be written
about his infinite wisdom and his imparting of it- LOL
Get a grip guys
