Well, apparently Mama was right.
I'll not dwell on this too much, since I was under the impression that
this is a list to discuss U2. But Reno, dear, get ahold of yourself,
man. We don't need thinly-disguised suicide (Eek! She used the 's'
word!) threats on a public mailing list, and most of all, we don't need
people's names dragged through the mud.
Nobody's asked me to make this post, and it may make some people mad. It
may even make some other people's perceptions of me fall down the ladder
a few rungs because of who my friends are (or one friend in particular).
I simply do not care, because sometimes, you just can't sit idly by and
watch idiocy stroll past without saying something about it. Loudly.
Anna Hight is one of my best friends. She is a genuinely kind, funny,
intelligent person who has been there for me more times than I can count
in our relatively short friendship. Reno, you know what kind of a person
she is, and that she would stick her neck out for anyone deserving of
her attention. You should apologize. Publicly. This is the most
childish, selfish thing I've seen on Wire since I've been here, and
that's quite a while. Grow up. Obsessions will kill you.
