David Trimble and Seamus Mallon gave a talk today about the Good Friday
Peace Accord. They talked of the efforts being made to try to get splinter
groups to lay down arms. Talked of the need for the United States to
embrace the peace accord and support them, praising the US, saying the US
has always been there for Ireland. They talked of the three days of the
agreement. Both sides seem to haev the confidence it will work out
beautifully and it is in my prayers that it does too.
Monday, Gerry Adams is in town.
I don't want to tie up space. if anyone wants more info, please email me
privately.
Lata!
