Hi everybody, hi Marin!
Yes, it's true that the amount of bootlegs and mp3 etc. doesn't make you
a better fan but then again, has anyone said the opposite?
Apparently you consider yourself as a good fan and that being a fan of
U2 makes you a better person. Listen to me: It doesn't matter what music
you listen to or whether you are a good fan or not. I respect people
because of what they do not because of what music they listen to. If you
like the Spice Girls you have all the right in world to listen to their
music without people making fun of you.
If you have all U2's records you don't have to by the GH album. As
someone said before here on the wire I think that this is a good way to
make more people discover U2's music.
What's wrong about saying that you like one of U2's hits? I don't think
that everything U2 has done is good just because it's them. Some songs
appeal to some people and not to others just as obvious as some songs
becomes "hits" and some doesn't.
Everybody: listen to the music you find good and don't be afraid about
telling people what music you like.
