Hello Wire,

I bought City of Angels for my wife. Tuesday Sept 29th was the 2nd
anniversary of our engagement. Since City of Angels was being released on
the very same day I thought it would be cool to buy it for her.

If you don't know much about DVD's, they have the full length movie,
usually in letterbox format, and extras, like alternate languages, movie
trailers, deleted sceens, directors commentary, and now music videos. City
of Angels has not only the entire U2 IGWSHA video but also the Goo Goo
Dolls, Iris video, and interviews with Alanis Morissette, and Peter
Gabriel. So if you have a DVD player, for only $19.99 you can have a high
resolution digital picture/Dolby Digital Surround copy of IGWSHA. Which,
by the way, is the only high resolution digital picture/Dolby Digital
Surround U2 video available on the entire planet. Sorry, laserdiscs are
analog picture.

And everyone keeps telling me that DVD isn't cool.

I don't know if anyone else thinks this is cool, but I think that this is
very big news. I cannot wait for all U2 videos to be on DVD. Actually the
truth is I cannot wait for POPMART to be released on DVD, that will be
incredible. The sound on DVD is better than CD, higher sampling rate, and
the video on DVD is better than laserdisks, digital picture instead of
analog, which means the picture is clearer and no white snow on the screen.

Of course if you are one of those hard core U2 fans, this now means that
you must go out and buy a DVD player, just so you can watch this video in
all it's splender. If you don't, I don't think you can truly say that you
are a true hard core U2 fan. Don't get to upset, a cheap DVD player only
costs $399. Such a small price for U2.

Peace,
Love,
Lemons.

P.S. The comments about hard core U2 fans were not intended to insult
anyone. They were written with the intention to make people laugh, if you
don't think they are funny then don't read them. Thank You.
