I am new to Wire and have been overwhelmed by it. It is incredible to be able
to communicate with so many other fans from around the world with a similar
passion for U2. Just wanted to add a couple of notes:
Heard Sweetest Thing on the radio each of the last 2 days. I was amazed since
our local "alternative" station sucks (106.5, WEND, same current hits 10 times
a day), and the other stations are even worse. But one of the morning guys is
a big U2 fan. There must be some other U2 fans too, since all of the "retro"
shows they do feature some U2, often less mainstream stuff like "I Will
Follow" or "Bad". Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise.
I want to state my public support for Steve's ("U2Fan") idea for the free CD-R
bootleg trading ring. I'm trying to get a collection started & this seems
like a great way for some of the more experienced collectors to share the
wealth.
And my favorite Zooropa songs: Zooropa & Stay.
