Ok,I'm desperately trying to put off studying for my Anthropology exam this
afternoon, and even though I know that no one will reply to this, I thought
just for curiositys sake ( and waste of time), I'd see if there are any
other fans from Montana out here on Wire. I'm from Missoula myself, though
right now I'm in Bozeman, being a freshman here at MSU, and you never
really hear anything about u2 in these parts. I must admit however, that
since coming to Bozeman, I've run into more u2 related stuff than my whole
18 years of existence in Missoula. For instance, at a Cat game a couple of
weeks ago, I saw 2! people wearing Popmart T-shirts. Also, there's a pretty
good radio station here, 97.5 The Peak, that plays u2 everyday, can you
imagine? Granted, its all pre-Pop songs, but still. I mean in Missoula I
heard u2 on the radio maybe 3 times ever! So even though I know songs like
New Years Day, Pride and ISHFWILF by heart and I own them so its not like I
can't listen to them whenever I want, I still get all happy and exited
inside when I hear them played on the radio. Just one of those things I
guess. Oh, and also my friend who lives down the hall from me in the dorms,
says that someone plays WOWOY all during the night, blaring from their
stereo, so maybe I'm not the only u2 fan in Hapner Hall.Well, I guess I
should get back to studying, I mean, that's the whole point of college,
right?

PS Since everyone ends with some sort of saying or quote, I thought I'd
write something my roommate told me yesterday. She said it was an Irish
drinking toast, but who knows. It goes: May your liquor be cold
May your women be hot
And may all your troubles slide off you slicker than snot
(lovely isn't it?)
