As for U2 ever being "big" again.....how do you define "big"? They broke
their own record for ticket sales just last year. True, they haven't
sold as many albums in recent years as they did at their commercial peak
(1987--1991). But--the concert draws are an indication that they are
still being appreciated big time. Also, many fans don't buy the albums
as soon as they come out. I didn't buy "War" until 1986, and I didn't
buy "Zooropa" until 1996. I'm on the road alot with a Renaissance Faire
act and just try finding U2 stuff in beautiful downtown Eupora,
Mississippi!! :-) That's Eupora, population 200.....rumor has it that
chickens outnumber people there!! :-)
Pax,
Patricia.
