You don't necessarily have to have put out 20 albums to do a "best of"
collection. Of course, it depends on how many records you've put out and
the quality and the popularity of the artist. Roxy Music put out an
anthology after switching record labels--and had broken up and re-united
to make "Manifesto", their sixth album if I'm not mistaken. (Wow, what
an album--and Roxy Music has influenced U2 big time. This 'best of"
series is terrific for new fans. They can buy this CD and listen to
songs from all of the albums rather than putting up with the expense of
getting all of the older albums.
