U2 and the Beatles as in influence

   I have to do a report on the Beatles for my communications class. One of
my main points is of how the Beatles are one of the most influential bands of
all time. I think that most would agree that the Beatles have been somewhat
of an influence on U2 (with the exception of George Harrison). Of course the
Beatles weren't as much of an influence on U2 in the early days as they have
been in more recent forays into artistic development, but alas, their presence
is still felt from time to time. Even if you disagree with me you can at
least agree with the fact that at least one band that did influence U2 heavily
was influenced by the Beatles.
   The question that I have is this - what other bands have been notably
influenced by the Beatles, other than Oasis? Maybe it's just the fact that I
am having a total relapse of recollection right now, or maybe I just don't
know...but either way, any help would be appreciated.
