Reliable Information?

And oh that this mayn't be a blight on the people of Wire, where did this
wonderful B-side tracklisting information come from? I mean, I count
myself as a reliable source for a lot of information, but what does that
mean? At last word, the band hadn't even decided what was going to be
on it, as far as I know. Again, I myself don't get the most reliable
information, but I'm curious.

Also, on this list here, it says Love Comes Tumbling and Three Sunrises,
interesting that they would pick both of these songs off of the Wide
Awake in America EP, when they could still make a pretty penny from the
CD itself (whereas these other "singles" are either out of print and/or
extremely hard to find. The Wide Awake in America EP is still widely
circulating (I can pretty much find it in any record store I happen to
be in from $7.00 to $14.00). If this were true and they were included
on the CD, then there goes the theory that U2 is only in the business
for the money aspect (which I've always thought was hysterical to begin
with).

I had a conversation with a couple of colleagues yesterday about the
post-1990 music, and how it fits in with what is out there in society
now. The word brought up was Electronic and I had to laugh out loud
at that. Obviously, some people haven't REALLY been listening to the
music, but do I really expect them to?

Off to count more beans.
