Hi Everyone! As I got some messages with questions about my meeting,I'll tell
you all about it..
So, my friend and I had already spent 3 weeks in Ireland, when we were told that
Bono was back in town. So we went outside his house a couple of times, though he
never stops there, as you all pobably know. One member of his house crew told us
that U2 were going back into studio the week after. So we went there and the
first day Sam told us they weren't coming, but they would come the day after. So
we went there the day after (Sep 1st). We waited for a while..First Mc Guinness
arrived; he entered the studio and went out a few minutes later. Then, after
some time, at about 2:30 pm, Bono arrived. He parked his car just outside the
studio. He got off and walked to us. He was incredibly...shining as usual, if
you know what I mean. He asked us where we were from..etc Then I told him I had
something to show him, and gave him the pic we had taken together in June 96. He
was very nice and said I've grown! :-) Then my friend showed him her Bono tattoo
(she's got it on her left shoulder) and he was very nice about it. He said he
liked it , etc. Then we asked him to take pics. So he called Sam and told him to
get out. In the meantime, he also put the pic I had given him in his car. Then
we took pics: first my frined with him, then I... Then, he said goodbye, etc. He
was simply LOVELY. Everytime I see him, even for a few minutes, he really gives
me positive vibes...It's that he knows fans love him, and so does he...And
there's no need to say very special words to explain this, I guess.
Shortly after him, also Adam arrived. He looked tired and though I showed him
the picture we had taken 2gether, he just smiled and said he had to go to
work...
Soon after meeting Adam we decided to go and have our pics developed, bacause we
had crappy cameras, and feared our pics with Bono would not come out.
That's it.....I hope to get messages from fans who had similar wonderful
experiences...and even if you haven't, feel free to emai me, too!
Love to you all.
