Before the media backlash against R&H, it actually received rave reviews. I
remember The Edge saying in an interview once that that was the irony of it
all - the album and movie were widely acclaimed by critics, but then there
was this huge backlash because of all the hype it got (it WAS overhyped).
And to top if off, I think R&H is U2's second best selling album to date?

It's a common misconception that U2 didn't make any money from the PopMart
tour. The entire tour was "sold" to a promoter who then paid U2 a fixed fee
of, I think it was $170 million. So money has nothing to do with this "Best
Of" album.
Looking forward to two U2 CDs and a video/DVD for Christmas...
