any of you who were reading the Wire about two and a half years ago probably read my postings way back when. I've been down in Mexico this whole time without any access whatsoever to a computer, let alone email or the web.
Here's my sad news: While in Mexico, U2 had to go on tour. While touring they just had to visit my home state (Utah) for the first time in over 15 years (or something like that, I'm not even really sure they'd ever been here). And last of all they just HAD to go to my home state just three days before my birthday. AND I MISSED THE WHOLE GESH DERN THANG!!!!!!!!!! :-(
Then to top it all off, I had to come home before the concert in Mexico ever occurred.
SOME DAYS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS, but none worse for me than May 3, 1997. Luckily my sister lives in Las Vegas and mailed me a T-shirt and a Kay chain. She went to the Vegas concert for FREE!
O.K. enough of my complaints, but I hope you can all sympathize with me.
I'm now home and just bought me a new car. I would like the biggest freaking U2 sticker in existence to go on the back window so if anyone cared enough to read through my sad story and got this far and knows where or how I can get one PLEASE EMAIL ME.
