They're B-Sides up to '90 (not including live versions, remixes, or
Sweetest Thng) are:
Boy/Girl

11 O'Clock Tick Tock (it's on Under A Blood Red Sky Though...)
Touch
Things To Make And Do
J. Swallow (Johnny Swallow)
A Celebration (A Side)
Trash, Trampoline, and The Party Girl (again on UABRS)
Treasure
Endless Deep
60 Seconds In Kingdom Come
Boomerang
Boomerang II (would they release both?)
Lumious Times (Hold On To Love)
Walk To The Water
Spanish Eyes
Deep In The Heart
Silver And Gold
Hallelujah Here She Comes
A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel
Dancing Barefoot
Unchained Melody
Everlasting Love
Night And Day <--- sounds like it should be w/ Achtung Era singles
although released in 1990
That's 24 tracks to choose from...
Also, do you think the Bad on the GH album is going to be live or from the
album, my guess is live from Wide Awake...
My 2 cents on this whole thing is this: I though, oh no, a Greatest Hits
album. I liked saying that they didn't have one, some sort of Pride thing..
but once I thought about it more, it should pick up some new fans, which is
great! I plan to buy it, to hear the new version of Sweetest Thing, and I
was planning on buying it before I knew that.. It's an easy way to listen
to a bunch of great U2 songs without lugging around 8 CDs... and it now has
a new version of a cool song..
A lot of people are saying geez.. the hard core fans will have to get this
and U2 is making it so they HAVE to buy the 2 Disc set.. it's not that
bad.. it's not like Depeche Mode releasing 3 box singles sets and Smashing
Pumpkins in which a lot of the fans had bought the singles and then they
released the Aeroplane Flies High Box set with 5 or 6 NEW cover versions of
songs, making the Die-Hard fans have to shell out 40 bucks to get it... 2
discs is not a lot to ask from fans.. and if you don't want it, don't buy
it! ;-)
(and no, I'm not a spokesperson of U2 trying to get fans to buy the GH
album) :-)
