How the hell are ya??? Oooooooh, I've missed y'all so much!
So, I was at this one used record store today, and they had the "Angel
Of Harlem" single on vinyl. I didn't get it. Should I have??? Now I'm
pissed. I regret not gettin' it, and I doubt it'll be there when I go
back. Aaaaaaw shit! Oh well. I was just wonderin' how much it's
worth. I'm curious to see if they had a good deal goin'......
So, ya wanna know what else has been on my mind lately? YOU DO? All
right, baby!
Well, I think I'm officially insane. I saw U2 on TV yesterday, with
B.B. King. I was feelin' totally lazy, in my pajamas, sprawled out on
the couch. Then *they* came on TV, and I was UP, hoppin' 'round like a
monkey, screachin', "BONO! EDGE!" Whenever I see `em on TV
unexpectedly, I get totally STOKED! I got nuts. NO other kind of music
can do this to me. It, like, transforms me. It's totally weird.....
but I *like* it! ;)
Then, I was checkin' out the thrift stores downtown today. Didn't find
any U2 shirts, unfortunately :(, but I *did* see a sign that said
"M.L.K. Construction." Holy shit! I just about hadda cow.
And in my work yesterday, a guy came in with a ZOO TV SHIRT ON! Every
time I'd see him cruisin' through the store, I'd get a BIG OL' grin on
my face. When I was ringin' his stuff up, I said, "Where'd ya get yer
shirt? Did ya see that show???" He hadn't. Actually, he couldn't even
remember where the shirt came from (dude, whatever). I said, "Ever
think about sellin' it???" He said if he ever did, he'd have to give it
to some guy he works with. I said, pointin' to his shirt, "MAN, I love
them." He said, "So does this other guy. He's gone to a ton of their
concerts." Sounds like a bitchin' person, this guy. But damn it!!! I
want that shirt. Oh well. It still made my day, seein' that t-shirt
while on the job. :)
Well, I gotsta go now.

P.S. Did someone say somethin' 'bout "Lemon" bein' on VH1's Pop Up
Video?????? I've been keepin' my eye out, but I haven't seen it just
yet.......
