..but I think this Greatest Hits could just turn out to be a hoax in
the end so we are in effect arguing about nothing.

Also, U2 need to release their greatest hits already. Let's face it,
they aren't getting any youger. Almost very other significant group
has released a greatest hits album.

I just saw the Johannesburg video and boy, did U2 look like a beat-up
worn out band. I don't think they will ever be able to tour at such a
massive scale. Smaller tour means smaller, audience and less sales
(this is the general rule subject to exceptions). Thus, U2 are past
their "popularity" prime but definitley stil in their "creative"
prime.

Thus, even if the greatest hits turns out to be ahoax, lemme give my
own unsolicited opinion ...GO FOR IT!
