Greatest Hits..Stop the Insanity!!!!

Okay, it's time for me to put in my 2 cents. First of all, I can't
believe some of you would stop being fans if the band released a
"Greatest Hits" album! What's so horrible about albums like that? Just
because a band releases a greatest hits album, it doesn't mean their
career is over!!! Anyway, from what I've heard, they'll start working
on a new album in September...A NEW album...so I am right to assume this
would be NEW material? If they do this, it will more than likely not be
out this year...maybe not even NEXT year...We all know how long it takes
for them to put out an album. And who knows about this "Greatest Hits"
deal anyway. Isn't it just in the rumor stage? I've also heard about
the possible release of a live album...Maybe that's what it is, an album
of some of the "greatest" live songs from the popmart tour, as a
companion to the video. As I said before, I'd LOVE to see that happen.
But for right now, I don't see the point in getting all worked up when
we don't even know all the facts. And if a greatest hits album would
make you stop being a fan, it kind of makes me wonder if you ever really
were one in the first place. It seems rather silly, don't you think?
