My U2 night: U2 for criminals!

Here's a funny story that involves some U2 content. Earlier this week some
friends and I were out filming a home made movie at 1 in the morning. We were
filming at this place called Ewing castle which is in a park. We weren't
doing any thing wrong when a police car drove by and put the spot light on us.
We took off running through the forest. One of my friends and I separated to
go back to his house. When we were crossing the street though one of the cops
spotted us and drove towards us. He stopped us and started asking us
questions. We tried lying, but it didn't work. So he cuffed us and drove us
back to the castle. We didn't think we were going to be in this much trouble,
but there was at least 5 police cars at the castle. (Personally I think the
cops in Central Illinois have too much time on their hands) One of my other
friends was at the castle with the police because he had forgotten his camera
case and went back for it. Anyway, my friend and I were cuffed in the back
seat of the police car for about 15 minutes. Fortunately the radio was on and
wouldn't you know it, my favorite band came on the radio with Mysterious Ways.
For a couple of minutes the situation I was in didn't seem so bad. But, it
got real bad when they took us to the jail to book us. It turns out that the
caretaker of the castle called the police. So we were arrested on a
misdemeanor criminal trespassing charge because we were on state land. It was
kind of cool at jail though because we joked with the cops the whole time
because they all knew it was a bullshit charge and they thought the whole
thing was funny. The trials Sept 22.
