According to a Bruce Springsteen boot site (Boot Camp at
http://anicon.com/bootcamp/late.html), MC Records has been busted:

August 19, 1998

A bootleg distributor based in Barcelona Spain has been busted by the
Spanish authorities. MC Records, who sold CDs and CD-Rs through their
website, were busted at their warehouse on Monday August 10.
Apparently the RIAA came across their site and then alerted the
appropriate Spanish authorities including SGAE (Spanish Author's
Society) and a couple others. After investigating them and other Spanish
shops, the authorities raided the operation and confiscated 10 000 CDs.

The Spanish media have reported that they face 1 - 4 years in prison if
found guilty, however it will probably take 2 - 3 years for it to go to
court. The arrested folks were interrogated at the police department and
then let free.

As a result of this bust it has been reported that it is nearly
impossible to find bootlegs in Spanish stores. It also seems that
virtually all mail order companies based in Spain HAVE CLOSED DOWN. If
you receive your bootleg CDs from a company in Spain there is a great
chance that as of this week, they no longer sell them.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.. and it gets worse.. the more recent
updates say that US Customs has been intercepting orders from MC Records
and other bootleg companies. It's worth checking the site for more
details.
