God, I *love* this part! :-) Below is the response I received from Jeff
Zick, to the note I sent him on saturday. BTW - I fully realize that one
must be a subscriber to post to WIRE. In AIUSA's case, instead of making
them subcsribe in order to send the confirmation of our donation, I've
worked out another solution. What will happen is that I will give AIUSA an
alternate posting address, the email address of Deseree Stukes. When she
gets the confirmation of the receipt of our donation, she will forward it
to as many U2 lists as she is able. I asked this of Des for a couple of
reasons: first, she really has been my "right hand" person for this
fundraiser, and I trust her. Second, I fully realize that I can't forward
the email for AIUSA myself, it has to be done by someone not involved with
collecting the money, and Des qualifies in this way too. She has agreed to
do this for us. SO - here's what Jeff said-
