Title change for U2 song?

Hello fellow wirelings. This is my first post, but I've been a longtime
reader.
I was reading an article in the paper today about how Marilyn Manson's new
album "Mechanical Animals," is banned by Kmart, Wal-Mart, and Target for
explicit lyrics and graphic cover art. What I found confusing was that the
article said that the cover art may be air brushed like John Mellencamp did to
the "Mr. Happy Go Lucky" album and how "U2 did the same by changing a single
title from 'Rape Me' to 'Waif Me.'" I have a considerable amount of knowledge
on U2 material, but I've never heard of this change or even the song "Rape Me"
by U2. I have heard of the Nirvana song "Rape Me" and was thinking the
article mixed them up. I'm not sure how you mix up a great band like U2 up
with Nirvana, but I guess it could happen. Anyway, maybe for some reason U2
did write a song called "Rape Me" and I've never heard of it. If they did was
it on a single or what?

Also I was at a used CD store the other day and I hit the jackpot. I found
singles of With or Without You, New Years Day, Where the Streets Have No Name,
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, and When Loves Come to Town for $4
each. What a deal! I simply couldn't believe my luck. I must have done
something really great to be blessed with finding these singles for so cheap.

I want to give a shout out to all you wirelings in Central Illinois (if there
are any). I go to ISU contact me sometime if you're out there. Later
everyone and have a nice day!
