I just read the post someone put on Wire about some painter guy being on
Maury Povich with a portrait of Bono!!! I'm sorry, but I don't remember
who posted this, but...they said the painter's name was something like
Danny Dent???? This is so weird, but I have seen this painter before!!!
His name is Denny Dent, and he does big paintings of famous people...he
usually paints half of the pictures upside down first. I saw him at the
Minnesota Uptown Art Fair in 1994...he was on the KQRS stage, and he did
a painting of Jimmy Hendrix. I remember he was WILD when he was
painting. It was really cool to watch him, and the painting of Hendrix
was REALLY good.
Well, I'm sure most of you probably don't care about this, but it seems
like the guy that was on Maury is the same one I saw...and I think
that's just kind of a weird coincidence (if it really is the same guy)!
Too bad he didn't paint a pic of Bono when I saw him!!!! But then
again, I could be completely wrong...and maybe it's not the same guy. I
wish I would've seen that Maury episode!
Well, that's it, I guess. If this seems like a dumb post, then skip it!
Hey, have any other Wirelings seen Denny Dent at the Uptown Art
Fair???!!! Just curious....
