Oh man, I thought FOR SURE they'd get WAAAAAY closer to the number 1
spot! Oh well. I guess I'll live. I'm OK. I WAS pissed yesterday...
but then I got to thinkin' about how U2 beat such WONDERFUL, amazing
artists as Tina Turner, Sting, James Taylor... Wow, U2 beat a hell of a
lot, come to think about it. That makes me pretty damn happy! =) And
it made me happy to see what some guy said about U2 (was it Richie
Sambora??? Can't remember...). He mentioned their political era, their
religious era, and then the era when they just made fun of it all. He
mentioned how they have changed so much, but have been able to make
those changes so WELL. I like that about U2.

So, I'm gettin' over it. Slowly but surely. It still blows me away,
though, that Sly and the Family Stone was ahead! ???? Did I miss
somethin' here?!? Gaaaawwwd, how INSANE! And I absolutely LOVE the
Police and the Beach Boys... but how in the hell did THEY beat U2? What
the bloody hell?!?

And, did y'all see the picture of BONO AND ALI in People magazine yet???
It's AWESOME, BABY! (Bono's hair's a weeee bit longer! RIGHT ON!)
They look great! Nice and healthy. So does Sting and his wife (they're
with the Hewsons). Nice picture! It's goin' up on my wall!
